Android Keyboard backlight
 

does the backlight of the keyboard on android not working normally? i'm just checking since mine doesn't light up whenever i open the keyboard.. is it a known "not yet working" feature or am i just doing something wrong? thanks

My understanding is that it does not work as of yet but you could always check the sticky by cflynt for status updates and faq's...:headbang:

I've noticed it stays on it if it lit in WM when Android is initially started. It's the same for the messaging leds, etc.

hhmmm, i see.. maybe i just never noticed that because i usually use the keyboard in a well lit place..

and i also tried turning off the backlight auto sensor of the keyboard hoping that it would give the same result as the screen backlight.. but no luck

txyaloo is correct, if you started the tp2 with the backlight on it stays on in android, but it never turns off though.. it's a remedy, but will be a real battery killer
