Make sure you erase your data.img file. The flip clock is usually added by default and if you have data available the weather will update as well. one thing i noticed is that the weather animation doesnt work when you have data.

Works for me. Posting this from android running on verizon tp2.

Edit:

Rhod500
Init: http://xdandroid.southcape.org/initramfs/initrd-20100328-d4cd3e8.gz
Rootfs: http://xdandroid.southcape.org/rootfs/rootfs-20100409-7ca1577.zip
Build: http://www.sendspace.com/file/qmkfbq
System.sqsh: http://xda.duttonbiz.com/package_hero_rosie_07042010/system0704.sqsh
Modules: linux-msm.201004091722.tar.gz from http://balsat.hopto.org/ (dirty modules have no debugging and are generally faster some say. generally you can use the glemsom without problems as well)

I just unzipped the build into a folder, deleted the initrd.gz, system.sqsh, zimage, rootfs.img and modules. Then I placed each of the files above in the folder, modded my startup.txt for the Rhod500 and booted it. Takes 15-20 mins on first boot. Subsequent boots are faster. Once booted, I let sense load fully, then re-booted. Once the second boot is finished I went into wireless settings, networks, select automatically register on the network and allow data roaming. After this the 3g connection works. Now, I do not have roaming so if you are not sure about your roaming status I wouldnt try this yet.

Can you do me a great favor and test out the version i put. There has been changes to help the CDMA users and we are trying to merge versions so we can continue developing in just one location. What i put up should help recognize cdma faster. Also people reported the startup to appear faster than normal.

Let me know. Thanks.

New system.sqsh is out. Some libs from the Eris were moved over to help with the responce time.

Try it out
