Maybe im an idiot, but I can't get my phone to give me the verizon options under the mobile operators screen. All it gives me is cingular, and voice stream. Any ideas on what im doing wrong. I would really like to get this completely up and running.

PS, I guess I should elaborate. I have taken my sim out. I have changed to CDMA only, and soft reset. I have changed roofts. I have tried to search for the mobile network, in which it says what I said above. I have tried to go into the APNs section, but all it is, is a blank black screen. I don't know where else to go. Or what I missed. I have searched, but there is some much on the exact samething that I have already tried. Sorry for asking, and thanks for any help. Also, my WIFI won't work either. I do have a connection to verizon though. I can make calls, and I am not in airplane. I know it's not because of the WEP thing, as I have WPA, and I have about ten other neighbor around me with everything from open, to WEP and all points in between.

Okay well I'm going to be laughed at for this. If I use any of the older 2.1 builds, I am able to install Storm8 games and play them using my own unique account (I think it's based off of device ID). However If I install a fresh 2.2 with no old data file there's already an existing Storm8 account loaded into the game Vampires Live. If I bring over my old data file from 2.1, I can continue to play on my account however the Market doesn't work. Any ideas on what I might be able to do?

Just wanted to drop a line in.

Downloaded the 6.12 package and put it in the root and executed...works PERFECTLY.

I am quite amazed at how well the TP2 runs this. HTC could have easily made this an alternate OS for our phones...and I would have preferred that.

Battery started getting quite warm within an hour...but I was running WiFi and downloading tons of games.

When you guys get this 100% stable with sound and all the nooks n crannies that TP2 natively supports, you are getting a nice donation from me.

Windows Marketplace is a joke...3 whole free games.

I know sound is a huge issue. I cannot wait until it shows up...I read about the sort of break through back on 7/16...I hope it pans out.

I am trying to run the Sense06-12-10 version on my TP2.. I get the sense lock screen BUT then I get a "Sorry the process com.android.phone has stopped..." what does this mean and how do I fix? I can click force close, but then it keeps coming back.. It also tells me when booting that it is missing some startup sound files and the DRM server....

Also I still get NO SERVICE.. this is a SPRINT TP2 .. HELP!!!!

Have you tried without SIM card?
I had to uninstall and reinstall it again after taking SIM card out from the phone (Sprint TP2). Hope this help.

You can also try to leave the SIM card in and set the phone to CDMA only instead of global in Windows Mobile:

Phone->Options->Network->Mode of Operation, set to CDMA Only.
