The Sense builds take much longer to load and the download is double the size. Some of the advantages are a more dressed up interface, ability to save attachments from email, exchange support built in and many of the features in Sense from the WinMo interface like weather.

After the initial setup I recommend to restart and launch Haret again. The second boot runs a little better.

Here is the first of these builds...

Sense05-12-10.zip

This file unzips in to an 'andbootS' folder. So just unzipped in to the root of your MicroSD card. If you want to run it with all the files in the root or in a different folder you must change to startup.txt file and remove or edit the rel_path line.

As always, please read the first page of this thread before posting questions.

Thanks and enjoy!

so just so i am clear we can run this as well as the aosp version since they are installed in different folders? will this give its own shortcut to start it up??

Yes you can have multiple versions on the same card as long as they are in different folders. You will have to make your own short cut. There should be instructions on the first page or you can always open file explorer and browse to the sdcard in the andbootS folder then tap Haret.exe to start android.

I have 4 versions running on mine. I have a live and test version of each type on my 16 gig card. Just be sure you have at minimum a 2 or 4 gig card if you want to have multiple versions.

I'm running a Sprint TP2 with Energy Rom + latest AOSP 2.1 .cab from XDA

How do I register on Sprint?
I get no cellular signal... (was great in WM)
I click "Network Operators" and it endlessly searches
When I try to place a call I get "not registered on network"
I've tried "Force CDMA" checked and unchecked
I've tried Sim card in and out
I've tried GPS on and off
APN is an empty black screen (although I think this is a GSM setting)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Could you confirm that you removed your simcard?

Yes, no Sim card and still no service. I'm downloading the mackie version to see if that will work (though the XDA page says that the .cab works for CDMA)

Mackie,

What's the difference from the 5-10 to this one?
Thank you!
