If you want the kernel, let me know I will go ahead and post it for ya, but otherwise just grab it in the morning. I have been running it for awhile and phone definitely sleeps better now. And is a little snappier.

Edit: Went ahead and uploaded for those that don't wanna wait. No doubt it will be on autobuild tomorrow morning. Enjoy!
gonna package it now. thanks for the update

Ok guys you know the drill. Upload completed. Play around with this package please and let the thread know what you find. http://www.jbpcrepair.com/mackie/

If your already using one of my packages, just take the zImage and modules file and replace what is currently on your SD card.

Things to look for:

data?
speed?
stability?
battery life?
etc etc etc

Unhappy Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 3-23-2010

hey guys i noticed something interesting, i thought it was due to some bad zimage and module update but it has happened twice and now i know why, a few days ago the battery totally drained while i was on android and it shut off, i ended up not being able to boot anymore, get stuck on animation screen, but i thought it was due to the modules, same thing happened to me just now, everything was running fine, till the battery died, i left it turned off and charged it up and now im back to square one, only way out is to delete data.img and start over. so be careful if that happens to you, i dont know if there's a way to recover any info or fix the data.img file, if there is i'd love to try it out.

hey i have a report to make.. there was one occasion when the GPS did work! When i first got the market to work and went online, i received a update for Google Maps. I upgraded and to my belief I had full GPS service!! Even better service than in windows mobile !
I cant remember what were the exact specs but i dont have gps anymore and i'm disappointed!

Turn on your wifi and go back into google maps. I bet it will find you.

Hint- that isn't GPS. sorry to break the news to you.

Trying out the new 3/28 package. Dont notice a lot of difference - might be a little snappier and smoother, battery life about the same IMO. Overall feels good.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 3-23-2010

Updated to the new zimage/kernels and I'm getting some type of charging. The phone shows that it is not always at 100% battery and it also shows that it is charging although it appears that the battery percentage jumps around some. Windows finally is recognizing that a usb device is being plugged in as well although it doesn't actually install correct drivers for it.

Edit: I was able to get windows to recognize it through USB, however it still is not showing up under My Computer so I haven't been able to move any files to it through the desktop
