And you are using the rootfs.img and startup.txt from the sticky Android thread in this forum on post #1, or #3? #3's rootfs.img will be the newest. But you still need the startup.txt from post #1.

On top of that, have you tried going into the mobile settings and registered your phone on your network?

Re: CDMA Verizon Data

I just got the one in #3 now, and it still does not let me online. When I go to the mobile settings it only gives two, voicesomething and cingular. No verizon.

I have never actually selected my carrier, I always tell it to select automatically. And it usually takes 2 times, but comes back and says Registered on Network. Maybe try that. I don't ever do the Search. See if that helps you any?

I just installed a newer version of this rom, and I am going to try again, I tried that last time, but thank you for your help, it's most generous.

Re: CDMA Verizon Data

I had to go to Settings to get my CDMA Data to work. I can't remember the exact setting but it is under Network or something and then click something like Detect... After I did that, I never had a problem with my Data.

Re: CDMA Verizon Data

I'm having the same problem. When I go chose carrier I have the options of Cingular or Voicestream Wire (which appears to be VZW). I choose Voicestream and phone works fine, but still no data.

Disregard, just went back in and choose Voicestream again, and all is good.
