I havn't payed any attention to this thread since ive downloaded 9/28 blazin... Its worked fine for me. Ive been waiting for 3.5mm headphone jack and MMS to work.

BUT THE HEADPHONE JACK IS BIG FOR ME. I want to use pandora.

Please tell me #1 who is responsible for getting it working.

#2 What do I have to do to get it working out of the box? Do I have to do things with kernels, rootfs etc.

Do I download Android v2.2 Froyo (FRX03) 11/22 Thats on this site http://sites.google.com/site/androidport/downloads?

No one is responsible for getting anything working. If you are asking which developer knows the audio/3.5mm code the best, I'd take a venture that Jonpry is your best bet. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a rhodium, so I think ACL is the next best bet. He has been extremely busy lately - in the last couple of months, he has brought us USB gadget drivers, backported the .35 framebuffer, fixed up gralloc and libGLES for better HW3D, and is currently working on a true panel power down/up. I know bzo and some of the others have been instrumental in helping him as well, but he has been putting in a LOT of his personal time.

I have investigated the headphone jack, but I haven't touched it in a while. The problem is that the blackstone has working code, but we don't have a GPIO for headset detection. I'm decent with haretconsole, and I mapped out what GPIO and IRQ events happen, but I never was able to re-use the existing code to initiate the headphone jack. Unfortunately, I am not a developer. I can read through the code and understand most of it because I was required to learn Java for my CS degree, but I haven't programmed in Java in almost 7 years now, and Java is different than C.

Sounds like things are really moving. Now all we need is a new BLAZN build.

From what I last remember (read: don't take this as fact), reefer hasn't been involved with this project in quite a while. He occasionally does things here and there, but he moved on to a new device and hasn't been keeping up with the TP2 side of things.

The guys that will be bringing Gingerbread to us are going to be stinebd, jonpry, ACL, phh, and maybe bzo and wistilt2. I highly recommend tossing a donation their way on the way with encouraging words about Gingerbread. They know everyone wants it, so hopefully nobody pesters them about it. Instead, donations make them very excited and is more of a motivation for them (it's much easier to spend hours working on code when you are excited).

There hasn't been any updates for the Blazn build in awhile. Has there been any new improvments made? I keep reading about some faster 3D driver, what's the situation with that?
