Not correct. It flashes because an app is taking it out of sleep. The panel doesn't truly power down on haret, but that has no effect on the LED indicator. And yes, NAND is working on getting a true power down.

sorry about that nate I must have not understand what he was trying to say

THANKS

It's been awhile since I've used XDandroid but I just had my old tp2 replaced by sprint with a refurb and wanted to try the newer system and kernels. Has anyone else noticed the media scanner in dev tools not picking up anything in the sdcard? So only the 'silent' option is coming up in the sound settings. I can view the sound files via oi file manager but I am not able to scan for them. I reformatted the SD card to create a new data but it is still doing the same thing. I searched this thread and saw reefer posted a link to another scanner in september for a different issue but thought this issue was resolved a few systems ago. Anyone else having this problem? I am on a stock sprint 6.5 rom with Goodthingsforlife sprint clean up cab. I used the package from the post I quoted with the 12.17 kernel from this link: New Kernel (1237) - Dec. 17, 2010 - xda-developers , and arrrghhh's sprint startup.txt from post #2817 (no overclock).

Outside of the hard key lights staying on (which I may have pressed when I loaded Haret each time) everything else seems to work amazingly fast after second restart of xdadroid. Even GPS location locked on and is working in Fancy Widget super quick! I'm getting 30fps with this setup. Hats off to all the developers still putting time into this project. Thank you.

Any suggestions would be welcome. I will try different formatting tools (I lost my sd card adaptor and have been using the storage tools reformatting cab inside winmo to reformat) and each kernel all the way back to 12.12 and report back if others are experiancing this.

Don't use any built-in utilities - Windows or WinMo. Use the HP Tool, full format.

You can try to backup/restore your build, but it may be a good idea to start fresh as well.

Hi guys. I hope this isn't stepping on any toes with the XDAndroid maintainers but I have put together a rebuild of the FRX03 archive package because it was becoming painful to watch how many people were just installing the old cab version of FRX03 (Froyo 2.2) from Project Android page. http://media.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/eek.gif

Even though the setup utility will automatically update the kernel and rootfs, it still doesn't fix the broken system.ext2 that is in that cab (you have to go and get that manually from xdandroid.com). Furthermore I have updated the kernel to the Dec-11 release that (AFAIK) will not be available to the utility until the glemsome autobuild is working again.

I realise that we have just had an unofficial Dec-16 kernel pop up in the 3d driver thread (and I am testing that right now) but since it is only a few hours old I didn't want to put that straight into this package.

Hopefully this will help a few folks getting started with FRX03 http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

THANKS

Has anyone tested this build?
If you have...does it work on the CDMA as good as reffer's?

Thank you!

BTW u do have to change forcecdma=0 to a 1 in the startup id u have the CDMA phone.

I'm using the updated New Kernel (1238) - Dec. 18, 2010 (Update: Dec. 19 -WiFi Module Fix for Non-Rhodiums

Same thread and link but this new kernel is near flawless!

I was running the one Invincible posted but since last night been on the one BZO posted up for better battery life and allowing overclocking. So far so good on that one, no issues to speak of (none on either actually, the one Invincible posted and bzo's latest).
