Weird, I'm on 2.3 & can send emails just fine... Just sent one. Have you tried several contacts/email addresses?

Also, I'm on the newest reference build... perhaps there's an issue with BLAZN...?

Ya I have tried a few different email address. I am on the 92810 blazin with the most updated kernal from the startup utility.

Are you using the newest startup utility? That thing is freakin dangerous...

At any rate, have you tried on the newest reference? There's been quite a few changes to the system image lately, and the blazn builds are unfortunately pretty behind because of it....

Just sent an email from BLAZN, not sure what the deal is... May have to do the ole delete (move, rename) of the data.img, at the very least to troubleshoot/rule that out.

Yes I am using the newest utility. No problems with it yet.

I have not tried the new reference build. I thought by using the newest kernal I was doing the same thing. Or am I way off?

I did end up doing a delete of the data.img a few days ago before I noticed this problem.

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [11/01] FRX02 Reference!

I finally updated to FRX02 today. I figured I can go back to blazn later on or maybe the theme can be packaged that would make my day too.

Though I don't know what is different from Reefer's Reference and XDAndroid's system.ext2

Plus it kinda is helpful on NAND

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [11/01] FRX02 Reference!

How is the 'SLEEP' button mapped in the new build? Is it like the older builds which feature a long-press to bring up the Recent menu?

The sleep button on NAND is the same. Only because we took the change back out of the kernel.

I'm sure someone could let ya know on HARET version.

Uh... No. Probably won't ever be either. Please stop asking.

Kernel is separate from build. Think of the kernel like a big bag of drivers - for camera, gps, even little things like LED lights. Build is look & feel, so theme etc. There's a LOT more to the system images - they're the Android base basically.

So the "Recent" option is lost forever now? I checked spare parts and there doesn't seem to be any way to gain that feature back

Yes, the devs appear to have made up their minds. And quit asking about it here, it's a bit controversial. Take a look at this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/tp2-androi...est-build.html

EDIT: Actually meant to link to another thread, but you should probably read the above thread anyways. Here's the thread where there might be some hope of a fork that brings the old mappings back: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/tp2-androi...me-button.html
