Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [5/10] GPS NOW WORKING!
Did i miss it somewhere, or is there something i am doing wrong? It boots up fine, things are a little laggy but not unusable. My question is, Why does it always say no service or radio is off? i can't ever turn it on, no matter what i try. Am i missing something?

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [5/10] GPS NOW WORKING!
My experience so far with the current build has been pretty good. I think the Devs are doing an awsome job to integrate the Android OS onto the TP2.
Not sure if this is a proper work around or not, but for me to almost always ensure my signal is enabled when booting into Android I choose the Rhod400 first then the Rhod500 then check the force CDMA. I then wait for the OS to fully load onto the main screen. It typically loads into landscape mode and I watch the singnal meter. When it comes on I push the (back) hard button and it properly orients my screen. I am actually getting better signal on my phone when in Anroid OS compared to WM... I have had lock up problems when using Maps or Navigation... Seems like when the GPS gets a lock and locates me on the map the OS locks and I have to remove the battery to get it too boot up. The battery fix is great and I hope it is possible to integrate it into the Devs build. I like the Update option on the GUI. It makes for an easy way to keep up with the latest builds! Koodoos to ALL who have helped make this possible!!!=D> |

Thanks for the feedback bud, just a couple suggestions when you find a bug, you might also be able to find the fix. You can always visit the Project Android HUB here and check the Updates & FAQ: http://sites.google.com/site/androidport/ Another option would be to use the thread search tool, and then you could have found this: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...45#post1755345 Enjoy your working GPS. :headbang: |
