Have an update for you and a workaround of sorts for the battery meter.

So is this a complete file with everything needed like your previous builds?

No, not yet its not included in the mainstream fix, but i would assume that it will be added soon. That download link is ONLY the zimage, you will just need to replace the one that is inside your /andboot folder.

Try restarting your phone and installing again. I had the same error and I rebooted and I could install it fine. Make sure your package is 164.9 MB otherwise the download might have corrupted or stopped in the middle.

ok this should be a simple question but can i increase the amount of ram in the startup.txt file to utilize more of my 8gb microsd card? if this would work and please excuse my ignorance but what would a gig be written as?

RAM & Storage are 2 different things. :)
