Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [8/26] SOUND IS FIXED!

Question, am the only one who's earpiece is crazy loud? I know they added the fix to make it "louder" (that was before we even got the external sounds going) but now I can't turn the in call volume down far enough to listen comfortably with the phone to my ear. :-D

For now, I just hold the phone from my ear, I'm pumped we have sounds!!

you need to delete android from sd and and put it back.

install android onto sd card

go to file viewer and locate statrup.txt

copy startup.txt and rename it default.txt

put default.txt into andboot folder

thats it

i had a very similiar problem as the one you are experiencing so what i did was i pulled off everything off my storage card, than i re formatted it and placed a fresh copy of android on there and voila worked perfectly. it was doing the same thing on my girls phone and thats how i fixed hers as well. Hope this helps!

Does this mean that I need to use a dedicated storage card for Android? I currently have a 32 GB card that I installed to. It booted once but rebooted as soon as I touched an icon. Every other time it hung trying to start haret.

Edit: Nevermind, once I remove the SIM card and boot without i plugged in, it works fine.

I actually just used the music player widget that is on the second tab (swipe left) and then when you play a ringer you can click the "Use as Ringtone" and it makes it available.

good tip, I'll give this a try.

Hmm.... is your music in a folder called "Music" on the root of your SD card? I don't have anything special as far as the organization of my music, it just showed up there.
