Wirelessly posted (tp2: Opera/9.5 (Microsoft Windows; PPC; Opera Mobi/17992; U; en))
try erase and format the card again. put all android files on the root of the storage. Before boot haret just check and make sure your sim card is remove, auto dim back light option is uncheck (unrelated to your problem but I would do it anyway). I have to go through several format and copy all android files couple of time before it work. Also if the first boot doesn't work and you reset it back to winmo, make sure you use file explorer to delete data.img file that android created and delete tscalibrate file and cache folder also. Hope this help and good luck. |

Re: cant run android on tp2
i have run into this issue with android every time, for 2 different builds now. im pretty certain its the sdcard, some are not compatible somehow.
i remember with the old TP i had the same issue, only way it worked was switching to a different sdcard, which i dont have anymore so i cant try with the TP2 |

Re: cant run android on tp2
i just noticed why mine keeps screwing up, and why my other files go to crap on the sd card. there is something along the lines of fsck (seems to be sorta like scandisk for windows) and it supposedly see invalid file structure and attempts to repair it, destroying everything in the process. this happens during boot process, then it loops on the 120 second timeout
