Possible longer battery usage.

Regarding fast battery drain issue. Try disabling gps under settings within Android since it really doesn't work anyways.

I used the phone for the next few hours doing basic stuff on a full charge. Then rebooted into back into windows and the phone indicated it was at 90% charged. Not sure if it's a fluke but give it a try.

Re: Possible longer battery usage.

Good Idea, I never thought of that. I ran my device in Android from a full charge the other day with Wi-Fi turned off and it lasted 3 1/2 hours. I will have to try this out and see if it makes a difference or not. I have also went away from the Live Wallpapers as well because I am sure that drains the battery as well.

Re: Possible longer battery usage.

Yeah I am always really rough on my battery usage. I still have to charge my battery about twice a day with my Extended Battery (running normal 6.5.5 and Sense 2.5) just to get me through the day. I have NEVER had a device that allowed me to go through the day without charging a few times or carrying separate with me (besides maybe the original Razr back in the day).

Re: Possible longer battery usage.

i think this is probably battery related... is there a way to keep apps from being open on boot? i know we can just use task killer and kill them all, but it'd be cool to have them not open in the first place... i assume this will help keep things speedy longer and prob save batt life

Re: Possible longer battery usage.

I forgot to mention I disabled location setting in windows first before I booted into Android, not sure if that helped.

Re: Possible longer battery usage.

I never thought of that, and I am really not sure if ti will make a difference because you are turning it off in Android already. However if the GPS settings are not working properly (as in recognizing the setting switched to off) maybe it is still trying to use the GPS which i not working properly ATM. I m not sure if there is an easy way of testing this other then possibly trying to drain your battery with WM GPS on and with WM GPS off, but the only way to get controlled test would be to do the exact things with each setting such as basically not touch it at all and enable the back light not to turn off at all. I really have a feeling that Power Management is about to be here and that will solve allot of problems.
