Windows key not responding

I posted this in the thread for the android development made by mrpippy, but it seems that I'm the only one having this issue. I'm running mightyrom on my verizon touch pro 2 and it seems as though everything else is working, data and etc. But pressing the windows key doesn't do anything at all. As I'm lead to believe that this is a menu key, it would be really really convenient to have this functionality. I hate to start a new thread, but I really have searched and not found anything related. Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this issue? Is there anything else I should post that would be pertinent or helpful? Thank you in advance for your responses..
