Or just setup Google Sync on WiMo

Thanks, a lot. I was always a tad apprehensive about syncing with my GMail account 'cause I'd thought that, since my GMail account had 0 contacts, all of my contacts on the tele would be erased upon initial sync. Anyway, worked like a charm. Can this be done with Windows Live, as well?

Give this cab a try, places it in the root of the start menu. Just threw it together, if theres a want for it i will start updating cab as Mr. Pippy releases!

This cab installs android into root of storage card and creates a shortcut in root of start menu.
Android with Shortcut

This cab only creates a shortcut in start menu to haret located in root of storage card, for those with android already on storage card.
Android Shortcut Only

Nice work Bike!:headbang:

Apparently bzo has control of the processor in increments of 19.2mhz under linux thanks to some of no2chem's notes. Exciting stuff...

I thought I saw a post in this thread that mentioned the channel to follow, but I can't find it. Can you post that info again?

thanks

edit:
I found reference to this one #htc-linux
Is this the correct one?

Your obviously doing something wrong because Wifi, phone and data work. You musta didn't use the rootfs from post 1 or you didnt unzip it to the root of your storage card. Could have possibly left your sim card in or something other than that.

Re-read the directions from post #1 and try again.

I was having this exact same problem after an SDcard switch. I had an unknown class 1GB that worked fine with 95-civics CDMA Android but when I switched over to a 4GB C4 a friend gave to me I couldn't get Android to boot for the life of me. I was hoping these new builds would fix my issue but it still persisted.
Every time I tried loading it, even after multiple formats my Haret would hang at:
Cleaning up...
Switching to rootfs…
GSM phone found
Checking for partition…
Creating a new data store

Then it would spam me every 30 seconds or so with another load attempt.

I added msm_sdcc.msmsdcc_fmax=14000000 and it booted Android without a problem. Although I accidentally messed up while programming the touch screen and now I can't even get past the "Welcome to Android" tutorial.
Never the less, it's booting. I've just got to delete my calibration file and be on my way!

I've skimmed some threads here and the one on XDA, but with 100 pages there's no way for me to understand where your fix for this came from. What are the limitations this commands instills?

And since I haven't thank everyone for their hard work here on PPC, let me do so.
You guys are freaking awesome and keep up the good work. THIS is why I bought a Windows Mobile device, because of the software that people like you guys create!

Edit: After installing I'm getting a lot of lag to the point where the OS is almost inoperable. Is this only me? Because I'm curious if this is because of the command I added to my start up txt.

Could you tell me where you added that text in the startup? I'm having a similar issue where it hangs up after loading the modules. I could get the original civic build to load fine (released 1/25/09) but everything after I can't get to load.

Anthing that you add to the startup.txt file NEEDS to be added after the 'set cmdline' inside the quotes, BUT HAS TO APPEAR BEFORE THE physkeyboard=rhod400 text.

It won't always be necessary to do this, but it is for now
