I vote that this be stickied to replace the other thread that is currently in the sticky section about Android on the TP2.

Re: [2/27/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]

FYI only

- WiFi: Did not "Skip" during setup, Working with WPA2, Settings retained on reboot
- Browser working
- Calls: WM needed for ear piece to work, Must register to network each time, Dialing speeds about normal
- GPS location working on maps
- Performance seems much better
- Boot time about 2 minutes after about a 5 minute 1st boot

I don't believe that it is actually GPS, I think it is just going off Cell Triangulation

Yeah, no GPS if you run Google Navigation.
And Google Navigation requires you to install an app from market, which cannot be done at this time. If this thing can get GPS working (I believe it will in the future), I will probably stick to it.

Did you try pulling the battery and starting again? Also try removing the microSD card when you power up.

I know there's a way to hard-reset using the combo buttons (simulatenously press and hold the Send and End keys while pressing the Power button) but that will wipe your our data... Maybe someone else can help him with this.

Re: [3/6/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]

can this ever be installed as a rom.
idk about other devices but is this even possible.
also it would be cool if we could get the market place to work and the camera. also the battery indicator.
and can make it less laggy?
can the tp2 processor even handle the android 2.1
other wise these break throighs are awsome
