Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]

Ok, so I have been following this thread religiously, as well as posting things i have found. Figured a new problem out yesterday, everyone knows that SMS isn't working, but to any that have not figured it out yet. Unfortunately Sprint still sees the phone as on, so if you have this running and someone sends you a text, you will never get it. I discovered this because I got yelled at yesterday for not responding to my fiance's texts when I was playing Robo defense. I have got to say, I have spent far more hours then I care to admit playing that game now. I have replayed the lower levels 4-5-6 numerous times to up my arsenal before proceeding on...

Oh yeah I forgot to add, I had hoped that if I was not receiving the texts in android they would show up when I booted back to WM.

only downside of that is you wont get your phone calls either, sure they will go to voicemail, but if your spending hours in android like I do, then that's quite a while of being unreachable.

Haha, I know I never spend too much time in there. I never got the sound to work (wait...is it supposed to work at this build?) so yea, no point in sticking around to play games...that's what the old iPhone's for

Did you install this to the device and not Storage Card? I believe the only way it prompts you is if you install it to your Device. If you install it to the Storage Card it will not AutoBoot, I wanna say he says that on the authors thread. But not 100%. I have mine installed onto the Device and it prompts me. I do know though, if you use Exchange Sync and your work enables security that it didn't show up properly. I use Zenyee Stay Unlock, and it overrides that, but one flash I forgot to enable it before my exchange synced heh so that's why I know.

Installed Gen Y Dual Booter on stock Sprint TP2 with Civic's Andriod build and it works as described. Looking forward to future builds!
