Re: Android, it's alive!.. (2.0.1) - Updated 12/24
also this android thing seems to be a huge drain on the battery. i lost around 20-30% of my battery by being in android for a little under an hour i think. either way i really cannot wait to see this project through and even now the development is awesome. i used the voicemail call trick and was able to complete a call to my house. even though these are baby steps i am still so excited.

Everything is looking Real Nice! I just wish i knew how to get all the drivers to work and be able to switch between both. Android is cool to play with, but i can't see how this can compete with win mo for a power user like myself. Thanks to all who helped making this possible. Merry Christmas to All!

Did you guys lost the ringer after coming back to WM? I am using Mighty War ROM and lost the ringer after I run the Andriod. Seems like I have to hard reset again.

Edit: Must be something wrong with that first card, putting the files on my 8GB SD did the trick. Guess I better stop using the other card to flash roms. Last edited by animez; 12-25-2009 at 01:20 AM. Reason: general douchebagery |

It says that it fails to mount the card. So I would try another card. Also its not reporting a high speed SDHC card when it discovers it. A high speed card is REALLY needed for any sort of usability. Yes, it will drain a good amount of battery seeing as the screen is on @ 100% brightness and you cannot turn off the screen. The back light is what eats up a ton of battery power on any device. |
