One thing i fixed in the old rec was the charging code. So now it wont melt your batt but will reboot gracefully when you press the power button. Next ill enable the reboot when chanrger is unplugged.
im also having the same issue with the new recovery.

ill be glad to test once your ready

I'll try it now. Seems several are having issues, so I'll attempt to confirm myself. Busy day @ work!!

Edit - so I just flashed the newest LK, flashed the newest AOSP recovery from ACL, and just installed OMGB and GAPPS. No problems...

Please try with the newest everything.

Little odd tho, SU is included in the build. Why are you trying to install it at all!??

Edit - I just installed Astro from the Market (I don't have any file explorer apps) and installed without a hitch.

I will as soon as I have time. SU needed to be updated, I went through market instead of the app to test if it was astro or something else that gave me the error

After several attempts (even reinstalling from scratch), I can't get the gapps to install. They do install from recovery, but simply "aren't there" in android. Are you certain that it both installed and functioned?

I wouldn't have a Market app otherwise. So yea, it worked.

Make sure you're on the newest everything, and do a factory reset in recovery before installing OMGB.

I've tried the following:

fastboot erase system
Reboot into recovery
Install omgb 1.2.3
Boot into omgb (do nothing other than reboot into recovery)
Install gapps

After that, while it "installs" in recovery, they do not exist in omgb (when booted). Am I the only one? It's not like this is my first experience at this.

Just curious if you installed using Windows or Linux? Since it seemed to solve the problem of "end key pressed" and having to pull battery when installing with Linux, maybe that's why a couple of us have problems installing GAPPS?

You can do what I did from the previous page... use CWM recovery and mount system, then GAPPS installs fine.

Windoze XP (t'was at work at the time...)

I'm going to try again. I keep having an issue with Titanium Backup. Which GAPPS package are you guys using? The 'full' one from 10/28, or the 'stripped' one?
