I appreciate for your hard working on Touch pro2.

My phone is Rhod100.

Thanks for your newest Rhod100 Experimental Kernel part 3, it fixed the previous Rhod100 kernel problem that the Panel wont power back up after sleep.
It's working well.

Problem:
Microphone is not working.
Now the main problem of Rhod100 is that when you call somebody you can only hear his/her voice but they can't hear yours. If i use the original headset, it's working.

Hope we can use it soon.

I will test your new development on Rhod100 and give feedback on time.

Any help if I can provide please let me know.
Good news!

On the mic issue, that's known. However, I don't know how much troubleshooting has been done around it. If you flip the speakerphone on does it work? Does it work after flipping the speakerphone back off...?

Logs would be helpful too. All 3 preferably - dmesg, logcat and radio logcat. Take them immediately after having a phone call fail.

Edit - ACL brought up a good point, did you do anything special to get service? There's a bunch of RHOD100 guys that say they can't get any service.

I didn't do anything special I think. Maybe change the /SYSTEM/build.prop file before upgrade the ROM, ro.telephony.default_network = 1 ?

Also is it possible you can test the Light Sensor and Proximity ? We need to know for sure if they work on the 100.

I tested just now, I think they are not working.

In my opinion, the main problem is the MIC, if it solved, I'm sure more and more guys will use android on 100, then we can test more and give feedback.

Do a dmesg dump when you are in a call and placing your finger over the LS. The dmesg will show it on or off.

For light sensor, do a logcat dump and put it under a lap with automatic brightness enabled. THe logcat will show the Light sensor value from 0 to 9.

I wont be able to develop much since my main rhod phone is sort of dead. So i'll try to resolve the mic issue since that is what is stopping more progress but its also slowing down cdma development which is farther ahead.

I have registered on ppcgeeks, even if my mainly communication is on XDA because this is interesting info. I'm one of bunch of rhod100 users who has NO SERVICE on GSM. So, are you sure that the only one change on your installation was this parameter ro.telephony.default_network = 1 in built.prop? I didn't tried yet, but I think, that is not the reason of connecting to network/no service. Other non-NAND builds (e.g. FRX7.1) has this parametr set on 0 (same as original build OMGB). I think this is only default value which use the phone after boot. This value may be changed in Settings-Wirelles&Network-Mobile network-Network type I think. So, from my point of view mainly problem is NO SERVICE

Sorry, I'm new on debugging.

Are these commands enough after I connected USB and ADB?

adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt
adb logcat -b main -v time>app.log
adb logcat -b radio -v time> radio.log

Can you at least try it...? ACL and I are in the dark here, we don't have GSM service, or RHOD100's. So we're leaning heavily on you folks to sort this out... Thanks.
