I have a TP2 running this bundle. It's been up for 54 hours now, including 45 minutes playing a tower defense game, lots of web surfing, etc. I had one SOD right after I first ran it, but no resets or SODs since. The primary problem is the Wifi keeps kicking out after a few hours (cell radio is on, but no service on this phone). When this happens the Wifi indicator turns solid white, instead of green bars over a gray background. If I toggle Wifi off and back on then it reconnects. I have Wifi set to never sleep.

Yea, I think its related to the overall flakiness of data in general on GB. If you wish, pull some logs and update that bug I created!

thanks for the advice that i weren't aware of, been using 4 days and so far nothing odd coming by. just want to know what is the downside this kernel do to my phone. i'm new in this android porting :oops:

Downsides? I thought I listed them.

I'm not sure the extent of the side effects, but as I understand it the battery code is more or less disabled completely - so I'm sure the battery meter is either not accurate or even not present? Perhaps some issues with charging? No clue how much or what is exactly effected - again, I have no Blackstone sir!

so far as for battery, i can get about 13hrs on full charge with moderate usage on GBX0A, 20mins phone calls, about 20sms, an hour net using wifi, 30-40mins on board game and 15-20 photos. i'll plug in to when it 5% (as per Battery Indicator) 6hrs charging at night. with FRX05 i only get about 10hrs. Froyo X Red is almost the same with FRX05.

Been so busy I haven't had a chance to try this out. Now that FRX05 is super stable on my TP2, gonna give this a spin tonight.

Fired this beotch up today, incredible build, nice and fast, had a few FC's but backed down the OC and still screams and smooth as heck. Only issue I've had is that damn data issue when you get a phone call. And nothing I did would get data working again, shutting off data and re-enabling it, etc, nothing but a reboot. And one thing that keeps popping up, even if I just soft reset to get back to winmo, this damn thing keeps eating my startup.txt and makes it 0B. Hell, I even hid one in a folder a couple layers deep and the bastard keeps finding that one too lol.

In case anyone cares, GBX0A has been running for 95 hours straight. Cellular is on but no service, however Wifi connectivity is active. Only problem is Wifi drops out every now and then requiring me to toggle it off and on. I'm not using it as my primary phone, but emails, google talk, weather, etc are updating and doing their thing.
As others have speculated, with all the versions (FRX05, etc), the stability problems seem to be related to the RIL.

getting a bit hungry for something new, so giving this a shot.

@NDNO, how's this working for you?? using your startup.txt but changed andboot to GBX0A----is that all you did (also put calibration in the folder) how's this running for you??
