Re: NAND Boot File Repository - Keyboard Mapping Fixed

OK all. I have uploaded the custom rootfs.img and posted the link on the first post. Just copy the file to your andboot file and rename it to rootfs.img.

To get your keyboard mapping, put a blank file named rhod500.kb, rhod400.kb, rhod210.kb, or tilt2.kb in the andboot folder as well. If you do not have a .kb file in your andboot folder, it will default to rhod500.

I also uploaded the latest compile of ACL's changes. I am still unable to get this one to boot, but feel free to give it a try and let us know if it works for you.

ACL, I just got ADB up and running and did a logcat for you and pulled the kernel messages. I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for. I just see death everywhere! :P
Attached Files
File Type: zip proc-kmsg.zip (4.7 KB, 0 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: zip logcat.zip (11.3 KB, 1 views) Click for barcode!

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all of your hard work [ACL]. Sorry it's been a bit of a learning experience for me getting all of this compiled and getting ADB set up properly. Was having issues with 64bit Ubuntu, so I changed over to 32bit and no issues with ADB at all

Thanks ACL. Mind if I upload these to my dropbox and post a link on the first post? Not sure if you get referrals or anything special through hotfile Also, looks like it is making me wait 30 minutes to download the modules

not at all .. knock urself out. does it work for you? if it works for you then upload it. If not then we still need to find out.

Also this is a heavily debugged version. The logs are full of print outs so I apologize in advance for that.

Haven't had a chance to download the modules, but I just flashed it anyways. It took a little while to boot the first time, but yeah, I'm in and everything looks great so far.

I'll get the first post updated tomorrow. Gonna head to bed and just download the modules later. I'll get it all tossed up on Dropbox so we don't have a timer

Also, the rootfs.img that I generated totally takes care of the keyboard mapping

good work on the rootfs. Now we need to find out why your build is failing. I'm uploading more stuff soon so we can try tomorrow again.
