Re: NAND Boot Testing - 04-06: FRX06 on NAND (Testing FRX06 now!)

Is there any reason why dialer codes don't work? I'm going to be switching the TP2 into my account soon and need to program it, but I tested some of the general codes but none seemed to work.

lol, darn! You do have a point. :) Not sure why that happens then, it should boot without the simcard in. :(

Those dialer codes have to be implemented in the Android OS, they aren't handled by the actual radio. As far as I know we don't have any support for them. Sense builds probably do.

Thanks for clearing that up! Thought I was doing something wrong somehow... lol. Time to download a stock rom so I can call up my carrier.

This is my radio log, hope it helps somehow...

Since you have been so patient and persistent. I'll make a custom LK for you that will bypass any button checking. It may be a rhod100 thing that you are having.

Like i mentioned before, even with USB plugged in it will go to boot first no matter what. Thats how the code is written..lol. I'll try to dump more info on the screeen as well to see why ur having that issue.

Root-Update.zip install busybox to /system/bin, so we have two busybox copy now.

In Root-Update.zip:
/system/bin/busybox --install /system/bin/
But you put busybox in /system/xbin

Try not to use the /bin busybox. This will eventually be removed. Goal is to be as true to android as possible. This is why Lmiller made a package for yall with Root and busybox. You can all do it yourselves by downloading the market apps, but update.zip is 10times faster ..lol

thanks but i was posting my info to help you solve the problem, i don't mind boot up though fastboot for testing as i am using an old phone as primary so i can test your stuff.. As for the log i was hoping to help you with gsm service...

Ah and End button doesn't work in android either (not a hardware problem as it works in WM and Haret)

Update: overclock still not working for me, tried several overclocking utilities and run tests in CPU Benchmark and Quadrant (i was able to set it to 320mhz)

Update: "FN" button is seen as "@"

Buttons definitely need to be reviewed since i cant replicate your issue. But thanks, ill keep working on it.

I need someone with cdma to test overclock now. I can set it but cant really test it. Whats a good benchmark tool?
