Well i rooted my phone and tried to overclock... I was checking the clock frequency in another program and with quadrant and another thingie....

About fastboot... LK does not check for boot partition it jumps right into fastboot.

Update: I there any way i can pull a log form LK? I've searched allover and didn't find a way to do that..

All the logging is on the screen. Nothing extra for now. But if you dont see any messages about checking the boot partition and its going straight to the fastboot, then some how it may be assuming that the end_key is being pressed and always jump to fastboot.

By default if you dont touch anything, it will error out saying that nothing was found on the boot partition and will go to fastboot, but if you arent seeing that as well then the buttons are messing up somewhere.

Edit: also we dont have that code you mentioned above. We default to fastboot when booting from either recovery or boot fail.

20110522_175721-kernel-update.zip also contain busybox at /bin directory.
Root-Update.zip install busybox to /system/bin, so we have two busybox copy now.

In Root-Update.zip:
/system/bin/busybox --install /system/bin/
But you put busybox in /system/xbin

Yup the Root-update.zip will do everything you need to have ROOT! :)

I put together a "NAND How to". ACL, Natemcnutty, Arrrghhh and myself will all have RW access so if something needs to be changed it can be right away. :)

You can find it here:NAND How-To

Try it again without your USB cable plugged in. And make sure to press and hold the power button when the blue screen comes on.

The USB was not plugged in
