That's status quo for GSM.

Please hold off on testing until we can iron out the issues GSM users are having - thanks!

So can I not back up anything? I would hope to at least be able to keep my call log, and sms history...

Yes... Unless you know how to remove the modules on your current build. We will not have to worry about this from this point forward however. :)

I believe he meant do not backup using recovery. You should be fine to do a backup using Titanium Backup to get that stuff.

The reason for this is there were changes to where modules are stored and all that jazz, so we don't recommend backing up the data partition from FRX05 and restoring it on FRX06.

You can try this. Edit this line in sysinit.rc from the androidupdate.tgz:

Change this:
Code:

service ril-daemon /system/bin/rild -l /system/lib/libhtcgeneric-ril.so -- -d /dev/smd0
To:
Code:

service ril-daemon /system/bin/rild -l /system/lib/libhtcgeneric-ril.so

1. Do not Back up your data.
2. Download the system.ext2 extract and place on sdcard/andboot.
3. Flash the Most Recent AutoBuild NBH: http://htcdevs.wirelesstcp.net/files...IMG-latest.NBH
4. Download my androidupdate.tgz and place on SDCard/andboot.
5. Remove androidinstall.tgz and/or recoveryinstall.tgz from your sdcard/andboot folder.
6. Load up recovery and do a fresh install.
7. Let it boot and enjoy!

Some known issues with FRX06, look HERE.

All Credit goes to the XDAndroid Team!

If wifi does not work remove wifi-nvram.txt in the /data folder and reboot.

Done...

First note I have on this build...

No Data on first boot.
