Re: NAND Boot Testing - Keyboard Mapping Fixed, HW3D, and Battery Algo Update
ignore those files for now since they arent working for me.
natemcnutty: what kinda os and version are you using to compile the kernel .. also what toolchain. Reason i ask is because i replicated my entire setup on the autobuild machine and it keeps crashing. Only differences are that my home machine is ubuntu 9.10 64bit while the auto is running 10.10 32bit. This really shouldnt make any difference but i really dont know why else it would cause android to crash. Also im interested to see if another version would cause android crashes as well. Ive tried my old sense ui build and it runs fine with the nbh from the autobuild so whatever this autobuild machine is doing its just pissing off xdandroid and no other build. Anyone try neopeeks ? |

I'll try 9.10 when I get home and see if that makes a difference. |

I'll try to revert back to the pre3d code to test. Update: You are absolutely right.. 3d somehow does break on some systems. I tried without 3d on the autobuild and it runs. Confusing part is i tried 3d on my homebuild and it runs. So something about 3d doesnt like certain environments. Ok so ill continue digging into this. |

Thanks ACL for your response. I have searched and found the angry bird thread. I got it to work on neopeek's build but not on xdandroid. Either way its extremely laggy and its probably due to tp2's limited cpu. Thanks again |
Re: NAND Boot Testing - Keyboard Mapping Fixed, HW3D, and Battery Algo Update
ok so after hours of looking into this issue i realized we have many possibly reasons why this could be happening. The libqcom.so we use was never designed to work with wvga devices. This is because qualcom never made an msm7k device with wvga screen. In anycase we always had a theory we would need to butcher the binary lib and see if we can change the mem locations with a hex editor.. well tonight i did that to see if it was the reason and still no positive results.. the good news is that this might help in the long run or at least answer the question about "can we mod the qcom lib?"
i sent the lib over to the xdandroid guys to see if they need it.. In the mean time im still battling our 3d issue since this didnt seem to solve it. Sorry |
