Re: Asus Transformer tethering help?
Maybe this will work? Found this at XDA. Will not be able to try it until this evening but it looks promising!
MBK Update: Did not work for me. The search goes on... Last edited by MrBigKid; 05-27-2011 at 02:37 PM. Reason: updating |

This did not work for my Transformer either. I got it to work with my laptop however. In the Android Market, I see a beta version of PDANET that allows you to select "server" or "client" mode. Unfortunately, this means you need to install this on the Transformer as well as on an Android phone. Configure the phone as "server" and the Transformer as "client". I'm wondering though if I can install the Windows Mobile version of PDANET on the TP2 and enable it for bluetooth DUN. I haven't had the chance to try it. BTW, we're trying to tether the Transformer to the HTC TP2 via Bluetooth. Others replying to this thread is confusing thethering via WiFi. This is not what we're trying to accomplish here. |

Re: Asus Transformer tethering help?
That one is very useful for ad-hoc WiFi tethering, thanks.
The search continues for bluetooth tethering. Supposedly, the Xoom does it out of the box...so perhaps someone can hack it out of the Xoom (just like the Xoom ad-hoc wpa supplicant linked above) to allow bluetooth tethering on our Transformer. |
