bill organizer

i've been looking around (google and market searches) for some sort of bill organizer. i'm looking for something simple to keep track of my bills. i don't think i'd need any special notifications/bells/whistles. i normally pay my bills on my paydays. so instead of going online and tracking who i've already paid, and if it can be paid on next payday, i'd like to open the app, and see what's due when, and if i already paid it.
i'm also looking for something that doesn't sit in the background (idle or not), if i'm not using it, it doesn't need to be a "background" process.
any suggestions?
