Re: Major Juice Defender update!
i had stopped using mine....but did the update and now going to see how it goes. yesterday i got around 13 or 14 hours with average non-restricted use. im using a different way to measure effectiveness, as i want to see how my battery usage holds up with me using the phone like i normally would, and not trying to get a long battery output while limiting device use. i'll see how it does with the new JD/UJ set up.

Re: Major Juice Defender update!
HELP !! When I downloaded the Juice Defender onto my Samsung Epic 4g, my visual voice-mail went away. Has anyone else had this problem ? Is there a way to fix it,
and still use the Juice Defender app ? Or, does the paid version of Ultimate JD offer a way to do both ? |

Re: Major Juice Defender update!
Don't understand why that happened. The free JD and later the Ultimate work perfectly on my Epic. I'm rooted and still on stock 2.1.

Re: Major Juice Defender update!
Credit for this goes to gten or JohnnyBravo, I forget which.
Once a day, go to: Settings>About Phone>Battery Use>Cell Standby. If the Time Without A Signal says more than 10%, back up to: Settings>About Phone>Wireless&Networks and toggle the Airplane Mode check box (hit it once to switch to Airplane mode, then hit it again to switch back. It makes a sizeable difference in battery life. Don't ask me why ![]() |
