Smart shoutcuts program issue

is anyone using a program called SMART SHORTCUTS on the EVO to organize their programs into folders? I am having a problem with it and I hope someone can help. I create a new TAG and then put all of my shortcuts in it by checking off the ones I want in the TAG. then put the TAG on one of the sense windows and it works. HOWEVER, at random, programs will be missing from the TAG I created. I then go back into the program and look at the TAG and I see the missing programs UNCHECKED. I re-check them and they are back but then, again at random icons go missing.

I tried to email the author but I have received NO RESPONSE..

sometimes when updating apps from the market, something changes and smart shortcuts loses it's association....

shouldn't happen to apps that you don't update though...

It does.. for instance.. I plugged my phone into the USB cable and mounted the SD card on my desktop. When I was done, I unplugged the cable and the card was re-mounted on the phone. Well, things were missing from smart shortcuts .. Same happened after a reboot.. missing shortcuts.. why is this happening?
