Wifi-tether 2.0.5 pre13 Bandwidth Limited?

I was testing all my 4g speeds local (on phone) and tethered (on netbook). I was getting 9mbps down on the phone however, with speedtest.net mobile app was only showing 1.4 down. Is wifi tether not true 4g friendly? is anyone else having this problem?

Please advise as to a better 4g friendly app if known.

use 'usb tethering'. much faster.

I don't think USB tether supports 4g.

WOW! I barely get 2 on 4G in Nashville. Hell, I only get 6 from Comcast.

According to the author the EVO 4g issue "should" have been fixed (but some still experience the issue)..try clearing the app data
