Mail - Widgets, Setup, etc.

Hi all,

I've got an HTC EVO on Sprint.

I'm logged into the phone with my Google Account. We'll call this Account #1. By default the phone syncs Gmail and all of the other Google Account stuff... and I assume this all goes into the Gmail App, so then what is the point of the HTC Mail app? HTC has a Mail widget, which works but I wish there was something that would sort of aggregate all mail from multiple accounts into one widget.

Why is there no widget to accompany the Gmail app? Any recommendations?

Any thoughts on the Gmail app versus the HTC Mail app?
