Sadly, I can't get 3 stars on level 1-2.

But yes, adfree works, and it removes the add completely , doesn't leave a blank box on the screen.

Another way to remove ads - turn airplane mode on. You obviously can't get calls/texts during this, but who wants to be interrupted while playing angry birds anyway?
