I think people rating it a 1 aren't taking the time to figure it out - unless they were complaining about exiting. Not sure if they fixed it, but I uninstalled because you couldn't shut it down w/o a task killer. You could turn off notifications, but a dumb icon would stay in the notification bar. Let me know if they changed this or there's a hidden setting somewhere.

Just hit menu then exit and it closes out.
