Same here, didn't do that this morning.
I 've used the Tango app a few times and it works fine!

Yeah, if I can't get this to work I'll go ahead and install Tango. There's something about Fring and Qik I just don't like.

Pseudo fix from Russellhi over at XDA:

Install yahoo messenger from the apk in the first post and login

Open a chat session with someone and click video chat, it will prompt you to install the market update, don't install it

keep messenger running and now install the second video apk from the first post

Return to the still running messenger click video chat again and your in!

Unfortunately once you exit you will have to repeat the steps above to make it work

I am able to place video calls...but since everyone that I know is asleep or off line I'll have wait til tomorrow to see if it works for real.

I have the evo. I have followed the instructions but no option for video chat. Anyone experienced this problem? If so and you were able to resolve it, please advise.

I'm not sure what the problem is... My video chat is still working fine.
Evo to iphone 4
Evo to computer
Evo to Evo

Am I the only one who's is still working?

Im rooted on EViO 1.5 and my moms not rooted. Wonder if that is having any effect? don't know why it would, just thinking outloud...
