im not having any luck getting this to work on the epic. any suggestions?

this is very exciting to hear. Does anyone know if you can make paid calls? I prefer yahoo's paid service over skype because it has real customer support. Hope this will eventually get a version in windows mobile, simply for the call feature.

when you say its a no go what do you mean? are you saying the app wont launch at all? are you saying the contacts list wont load? are you saying the video chat is not working? give me some details so I can try to help you.





by the way...
a few mins ago when i went to yahoo messenger on my phone it said i had to update.... i was afraid at first thinking it was a fix that wouldnt allow video chat but i did it anyway.... it still works perfectly so to anyone out there wondering... go ahead and do it....


about the epic...
I tried it again on my girlfriends epic today and still no luck i thought that maybe since there was an update it would work but it didnt even ask for an update. I downloaded the latest version on to her epic from the market and now it wont even allow her to log in.

Yeah, I did the upgrade too....

Installed on my EVO then my dad's. Followed directions to a T. They sign in fine and report correct contacts. Long press on contact brings up the menu then I select video....here's what happenes......

I call from my EVO to dad and I get ringing and his pops up with answer video call or decline....selecting answer video call dumps him back to contact screen and call is lost. He calls my EVO and his will ring twice then dump him back to contacts.

I've tried uninstalling/re-installing, rebooting both phones, pulling batts on both phones but still no dice. If you have any suggestions that would be awsome! Thanks man!
