Re: handscent SMS auto correct

Like blazingwolf said, I would assume it is keyboard settings. Are you using stock KB or a third party?

Moved to Android Apps and Games discussion.

Re: handscent SMS auto correct

The auto keyboard sucks it doesn't auto correct for you unless you have word vompletion on then you habe t clivk on each word yoy actually wanted to select worf correcton.

Ok, i typed that out without going back and correcting each word. Auto correct doesn't, nor never has worked on my evo without having word suggestion on.

And the first sentance i wrote in aprox 8 seconds. the second took me almost 3 min to go back and correct myself. i miss the hardware keyboard.

It takes a little getting used to but you'll get the hang of it. If it's the HTC keyboard try using the phone pad (it looks like a t9/abc keyboard off a regular phone) and give it a whirl. I also find typing in landscape is nice too. Just practice it and you will get better.

Re: handscent SMS auto correct

Stock keyboard.....I didn't know there were 3rd party keyboards.
I'm not using the hard keys.......I type in landscape using the touch screen.......or use the voice input.
