Has sprint allowed my evo to be 1-uped by verizon

The evo doesn't have the built in city id feature say like my tp 2 earlier I realized that my boy's droid x had the feature, did sprint drop the ball on this one, his call log had the cities, of each call. Does anyone have this on their evo, say a third pay app

Ive always thought this was pretty pointless for people living in metro areas like Atlanta... there are 3 area codes here and they stretch as far as 30 miles out so its not accurate worth a damn.

That was a 3rd party app on the tp2 as well. I remember mine started working when I installed a custom Rom then stopped working after a trial period.

True but atleast you will have a general idea of where the call is coming from.

What are you even talking about? If you have your locator on, it knows what city you are in and will report things like weather, etc. from "My Location"
