has anyone tried contacts widget for the Evo?

I am curious to know how well this works? it says there are issues withthe Evo but in the demo I can't seem to find any

has anyone paid for this and updated it to do the 20 contacts? on a screen? i would sure love for this to work

Why not just use the stock HTC favorites widget? It may only be 3x wide but scrolling up and down is a breeze, and to mention it's free. Also, you can create a link to a contact on any home screen and it uses the contact pic as the icon. Going that route, you can put 4x wide. This is just a thought for you just incase you may have forgotten about those.

I also use the stock HTC People widget which allows for either 1x wide or 3x wide. I haven't used this one but not sure if it's worth the extra screen real estate. Using the stock widget 1x wide with smooth scrolling works well for me, but let us know if you take the plunge.

I used the contact widget from the market and was pretty blah, but worked fine

U were asking for personal experience not recommendations rite? Anyway I been using it since like the second day I got my evo (6/12) I love it, it doesn't sync FB pics as stated but no issues at all. I flash roms frequently an use the contact widget for about 12ppl so its jus annoyin settin it up each time but i digress, the widget works fine....obviously not all of us use HTC sense...
