OK , Heres the perfect Keyboard App (DEVS NEEEDED)

I keep reading the same discussions, SWYPE vs. Multitouch, Multitouch vs. IME, Shapewriter VS. SWYPE.....
How about this. I prefer to use a regular keyboard (IME, touchpal, multitouch) with two hands (or fingers) when Im in Landscape mode. When I want to send a quick reply or type a quick email (usually when Im driving, i know.. its bad) I hold the phone with one hand in Portrait mode and thats when I really like SWYPE or Shapewriter. So I would surmise that a GREAT app at this point would allow for one keyboard to be default in Portrait and the other to be default in Landscape. I currently switch back and forth and its a pain in the a$$...

that's an awesome idea... you should probably hit up XDA, they always get $hit done.

i still cant use swype... i dont type well enough to know where the next letter is. hunt an peck typers like myself prefer the 2 thumb method.

Great idea! Its a Ureaka<--spelling. lol Seriously I use swype in portrate only. I never switch to landscape because swype in landscape is just redundant. In landscape the multi touch keyboard would be nice. I mean portrait plus swype would be great for the short quick text and landscape plus multi touch would be great for when your not in a hurry.

I think even just a widget I could place next to my messaging app to fast switch keyboards would be amazing! Depending on the use I want to use two hand typing and the other times using one, a widgetwould easily take care of that for me!!
