any facial recognition apps?

sorry if this has been asked already but i figure with the front facing camera on the evo there might be one for unlocking the phone rather than the slider

Not sure weither that app exists or not, but would you really want it to? With today's technology, wouldn't it be more likely to be something in beta, and would only work properly with something higher grade then a 1.3MP camera? I'm not a programmer, but I'm just trying to imagine a low grade camera like that accurately doing facial recognition. If it fails, then you don't have access to your phone.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see that being released yet.

Besides, front facing cameras are only just within the past month or two (since the evo and iPhone4 came out) started to gain traction. Give it time, soon more and more phones will have it, until its just a standard. Then the quality on the front camera will be equal to the back facing camera, and by that point I imagen the standard will be around 12MP for both cameras. Once that happens, maybe then I could see facial recognition (which would be a great anti-theft measure once it becomes standard) happening.

As for right now.....I doubt it.
