Droid X Skype App?

Anyone know if the the Droid X Skype app works on the EVO?

Anyone care to share a backup of the app to try it?

Nope sorry already tried it, the app installs but when you open it a windows pops up saying something like, Sorry, Skype Mobile can only be used on the Verizon Network.

But I couldnt find anything about a release date for skype for evo but I did see this from a different forum, dont know if its true but heres what the guy said

when they stop banning Fring.

As for an official release, who knows. Supposedly they are working on a universal android app with video calling support that will be out near the end of the year.

There is a Skype Lite Beta version. Search google. It works on the Evo.
