Re: "3" Music Player. Great interface and Album art.
HTC player, and some other ones, like DoubleTwist annoy the crap out of me just because I cannot exclude folders from playback. Some game downloaded bunch of "Ohh" "Ahh" and "PEW PEW" which ended up in HTC player. Annoying. Wonder if there's a fix for that.

Does this 3 player have a widget or is it only full screen? And if it does have a widget does it still show album art? the stock players widget shows album art which is pretty cool. Also, anyone that wants album art, if you leave the music files in their album folders and put the album art in the folder with the files itll show up on the stock player. May not download from the net automatically but we have supersmart phones for a reason. With google search built in finding the art only takes a few seconds. Just a thought.

Some albums are designed so if you listen to them off CD, the transition from track 1 to track 2 should sound and feel like one continuous track, even though its a new track. MP3 players without gapless playback will have a brief 1 second pause between tracks. MP3 players with gapless playback will just keep on going, as if it were a CD with no "gap" in the audio. Gapless audio for me is essential. So, I too am interested to find out if this has it. While I'm at it, I'll add a few questions to the pot. Does it allow you to go to the next track with the button on the headset? (also essential for me) Does it have a shuffle or a random mode? (nice, but not essential). Does it have playlist editing? I like to control which songs are in the playlist, as I have some audio which isn't music. Does it have playlist loading/saving? |
