Latest Fring 2.1.0.18 added a banner AD!

Just in case before you update your Fring, back up your previous one.

It mentions "free video" update.. But then I noticed they only added a banner AD and don't notice any new features or enhancements.

YES!!!! ITS SO FRIGGIN ANNOYING......They lied to make you update and all they did was added that stupid ad banner.....

i would pay a couple of bucks for an ad free version, fring is a great app.

I realize they have to make money but that instantly turned me off to the app. It makes fring a helluva lot uglier than it already was.

I understand why this got moved, but too bad, even though this app can be used on any android phone, it really is most advantageous on phones with a front facing cam for video conferencing.

Most users tend to stay in their device forum and rarely follow threads posted or moved outside and either miss out or wind up reposting.

IMHO

EDIT: Humm, just thought of a suggestion; Is it be possible to add a subsection, in the EVO forums, that would include persistent link-backs to posts moved from the EVO forum to other sections that pertain mostly to EVO but beneficial to users of other devices/discussions?
