Best email app I have found so far for hotmail.

Ok. So I started with htc's app and it is crap. Then I forwarded all my hotmail emails to gmail and used that for a couple of days and that was crap. Gmail sucks. Then I got k9 and the interface is awesome but it continuously got errors and would not sync up with hotmail. So if I delete something on k9 it would not delete off hotmail...crap. Then I found an app called mail droid and it is far from perfect and the interface is simple but at least it syncs up with hotmail. For example, if I delete something on my phone, it deletes it off hotmail. If I mark something read on my phone it is marked read on my hotmail account.this is the best I could find so far for hotmail. If you have found a better app than this please let me know. I am not interested in finding out why you like the htc mail or why you think gmail is the best thing since sliced bread. Please keep this thread useful. Thank you.

I have been using Seven on mine and I agree both the HTC native client and K9 sucked

You do know you can go into the HTC apps settings and have it delete mail off Hotmail it's unchecked by default

Doesn't that delete the message off of the server as it downloads it?

He is right. But my problem was the reverse. If I deleted something in hotmail from my PC, it didn't get reflected on my device. So is this covered in this app you speak of?

Re: Best email app I have found so far for hotmail.

It does not delete off server when you download it and if you delete from PC it will delete from phone on next sync. Basically it will keep the phone and Hotmail identical which is how I like it. The phone wont be identical until you do a update though now to get my custom folders
