Re: What is the best way to back up your apps so you can flash a new rom?

they both work equally well, I do, however prefer mybackup Pro. Just seems to be more no frills. Of course if you don't know already...you can completely back up a ROM with nandroid

Re: What is the best way to back up your apps so you can flash a new rom?

Has anyone used Sprite Mobile Migration or Backup application for Android from http://www.spritesoftware.com/products/android, I used the Windows Mobile version and it works well but I was wondering if it does a exact image on unit like it did with Windows Mobile and does the migration software works with transferring personal data from WM to Android?

Re: What is the best way to back up your apps so you can flash a new rom?

I'm really a big fan of using ROM Manager to backup all my ROM's etc..

Its so easy to switch between ROM's..It takes me about 5min to switch from one ROM to the other. I do use Titanium to backup some apps here and there but I use it less and less as time goes on.

so with all of these, does your phone have to be rooted? is there a program i can use on a stock oem sprint hero 2.1? i bought zenonia, and the files save onto the phone. i dont want to lose the info, and most of the app managers dont save the protected file info of paid apps

I've tried Titanium and My Backup Pro. Have to say that My Backup Pro worked much better for me. Then again, I was using the free version of Titanium.
