Increase home screen count?

I was wondering if there was a way to increase the home screen count on the android platform? I have read that you can't at all, I have read that you can with programs such as ahome, pandora home, or openhome. I was wondering if anyone was successful with any of these programs. Plus when I went to check out the programs I checked out ahome and pandora home (or something like that) and both said that they weren't compatible with 2.2 (I know we have 2.1 but excitedly planning for the near future).

I wasn't sure if I should post here or the general android section. So forgive me if it is wrong or already posted. Android Virgin here and sifting through the posts over the past week now.

Moved to Android Apps and Games....

The apps you mentioned will do what you want. I don't use them so I can't give an opinion one way or the other. When 2.2 comes around I am sure these things will be compatible though, kind of silly for the companies not to keep up. I am sure someone will give you an opinion on those apps though.
