Netflix coming to Android?

oueeeeee, that makes me mad, im about to start emailing netflix, I feel that i have to do something.....on windows phone, come on, are you serious....I joined netflix on facebook and put up some posts already, please everyone join and lets get this on the Android OS.

they are working on it. you have to keep in mind that Android is much harder to develop for than iOS and WP7.

Android has phones with so many different specs and layered so differently, touchwiz, stock, Sense, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 (soon) it's crazy.

iOS and WP7 don't have that, all the phones are very similar as far as specs and requirements and none have 3rd party UIs or other companies writing their own version of the OS.

Give it a little time, Netflix knows how huge an Android app is going to be, but they can't put out a lame product that doesn't work on half the phones.

OK, makes that makes HTC Sense, (get it), anyways, thanks for calming me down, and shedding 'light' on the subject. I guess me wanting a day by day status of the progress, would in the end really hurt me more than it would hurt netflix, huh?

I know that a few months ago they had a job opening for an Android developer. I havn't checked to see if its still open.

I don't know where I saw it with so many info streams coming at me, but last week I read that someone at Netflix claimed there would be no app for current Androids -- ever -- because of the DRM issue and the many platforms. They were going to work on it for the next generation droid releases instead. I hope I read that wrong.

Anyone else see or hear anything like that?
