Handcent 3.0

Stupidly updated my handcent to 3.0 last night and now it's not working correctly. Uninstalled and installed twice thinking that it was just a bad install. I was wondering if anyone out there could help me out and send me Handcent sms Version 2.9.37? If you have this version please let me know and I'll give you my email.

The issue I am having is that I can't get the popup to stop popping up with every new txt. I am not new to Handcent and yes I know how to work it so if someone has a suggestion other then "go into settings and disable the popup" I will listen. I have been using Handcent ever since i got my Hero last October and will feel totally lost without it....

I'm looking for the older one too, there's no way to adjust the font size in the newest version (idiots), they idiotically sectioned off the all the settings and didn't include that.

Maybe stupid question but do you use Sync to install as 3rd party app on phone. Handcent didn't work on my Hero after reload after 2.1 update...ironically couldn't get popup to work and some thing else. Anyways have the old downloaded now and going to try install through Sync. Thanks for any answers.

I'm a fan of 3.0. I was using the stock app for about a week and just flashed to fresh's newest rom and started using it again. I like what they have done with the settings. And I like the preview function of making the changes to color, background, etc.

3.0 is very nice.
